Abstract :
A novel wideband aperture coupled microstrip antenna is proposed. This structure uses a radiating patch with stubs and a cross microstrip feed line. The antenna was studied regarding fractional impedance bandwidth, radiation patterns and gain. The fractional impedance bandwidth is 41%, and the antenna radiation performance is good over the entire frequency range
