Abstract
Interference cancellers are widely used in many antenna array systems to mitigate RF interference. This paper presents the development of an interference cancellation system using a software-radio based platform. The aim is to have a cost effective development platform to study and compare the performance of interference mitigation techniques. Consequently, the Universal Software Radio Peripheral (USRP) kit has been chosen and interference cancellation designs have been implemented in Matlab-Simulink software. Experimental results of the system are presented to validate its performance. Finally, practical constraints from the USRP platform are also discussed.
