Abstract :
Considered four indicators including input, effect, maintenance costs and sustainable, four different road safety improvement measures are given focused on road users, vehicles, road infrastructure, and comprehensive measures. Based the survey results with road manager questionnaire, TOPSIS method is used for evaluation of road safety measures. Evaluation results show that the optimal strategy is the comprehensive strategy, followed by road infrastructure, road users and vehicles. Therefore, decision-makers in considering traffic safety measures should use combination measures, taking the main factors affecting traffic safety into account.
