  • Abstract
The Crank-Nicolson method is applied to the field transformed Maxwell´s equations to derive an ADI FDTD scheme. The proposed method significantly reduces the limitation on time-step size and the computational domain to only one period of the structure. Using the von Neumann technique, the numerical stability of the proposed method was studied
