  • Abstract
The paper addresses the dynamics and the control of a new high-frequency, phase-shifted, voltage-clamped PWM DC/DC power converter. This converter exhibits first-order dynamics under simplified hypotheses. Here, an accurate higher order linear model, useful for control optimization, is constructed. Such a small-signal model is obtained using exact-sampled-data and computer-aided techniques, whose application to the power converter topology is not straightforward due to switched-capacitor transients. Modeling plots in the frequency domain show good agreement with experimental results
