Abstract
In this paper, design considerations and challenges are briefly discussed for stretchable antennas and several reported state-of-the-art stretchable antenna designs with different fabrication technologies are reviewed. Performance results in terms of attainable strain (stretchability), conductivity, antenna efficiency, and cost are compared for these various stretchable antenna technologies.
