Abstract
This paper investigates gain enhancement and mode singularities in photonic crystal waveguides with InGaAsP quantum wells. This paper also presents the measurement of the spectral gain of active photonic crystal waveguide near mini stopband regions: spectral analysis of the light gives the spatial gain
