Abstract
Quasi-orthogonal waveforms which exhibit low cross-correlation responses have the potential to enhance radar performance. Intra-pulse, phase coded or frequency modulated waveforms, sharing the same frequency band, are of greatest interest. A review of quasi-orthogonal waveform design and performance is presented including bounds on auto and cross-correlation performance.
