Abstract :
Introduces a simple condition which guarantees global asymptotic stability of m-D digital filters with combinations of quantization and overflow. For the cases of roundoff and two´s complement truncation quantization, this condition improves measurably over previous results. For the first time, this method allows one analyze the naturally occurring combination of two´s complement truncation and two´s complement overflow
