Abstract
There have been experimentally investigated surfaces of substrates for laser gyro mirrors. Surface topographies of the substrates are registered by atomic force microscope. Some surface statistical parameters are analyzed as quantitative criteria of the substrate availability for laser gyro mirrors. Solitary asperities at the surface are characterized by coefficient of kurtosis.
