Abstract
Topological conditions, which are both sufficient and necessary for the testability of linear passive dynamic circuits, are proposed in this paper. Prior to actual diagnosis via multifrequency measurements, according to the topology of the faulty circuit/system, one can determine whether or not all the element parameters are uniquely identified. Moreover, topological formula of the Jacobian matrix used in solving nonlinear equations is given
