Abstract :
The authors propose a method using a new Extended Autocorrelation (EAC) technique to improve the traditional 2D AR-model algorithms. They use the EAC technique to achieve better parameter estimation that provides exact matching between the first P+1 autocorrelation coefficients of the 20 image signal and those of the 20 model while the high-order coefficients mismatch is minimized
