Abstract
Time resolved four-wave mixing measurements are carried out in single-walled carbon nanotubes in water. Electronic dephasing times are response limited to below 80 fs. The interband cascade of electronic population is completed in 400 fs, followed by vibrational energy redistribution and cooling which lasts 100 ps.
