Abstract :
An analysis of the applicability of the phenomenological model of giant magnetoresistance (GMR) in granular media ferromagnet-nonmagnetic metal. The dependences of GMR on the size of granules and the concentration of ferromagnetic phase. Derived requirements for the parameters of the medium when the effect is maximal.
