Abstract :
Structure optimization and the results of the functional modules development for high power modulator for klystrons, magnetrons, gyrotrons and other microwave vacuum devices are under discussion. Main goal is in the increasing of pulse form stability, breakdown protection and modulator´s energy efficiency. The fields of preferable application for basic types of power switching devices in high power modulators are established.
