Abstract
The observation of Bose-Einstein condensation of 52Cr atoms offers the possibility to experimentally explore a new type of interaction in degenerate quantum gases. Utilizing one of the recently observed Feshbach resonances to tune the strength of the contact interaction, the character of the interaction is varied from mainly contact to purely dipolar.
