Abstract :
This paper proposes a new ultra wideband rectangular dielectric resonator antenna. The proposed antenna has compact size of 20×20 mm2 and a bandwidth of 8 GHz to more than 30 GHz. The full 3D electromagnetic simulation software CST STUDIO SUITE is used to simulate and analyze the proposed antenna. The reflection coefficient, the radiation pattern, and the gain are used to demonstrate the performance of the proposed antenna.
