Abstract :
The SPICE-2 thyristor model presented in this paper is simpler than other models in use. It consists of only eight SPICE-2 library models so that the small element count makes CADA of large scale integrated circuits containing several thyristors more feasible. The parameters of the model can be extracted easily by a short calculation using the data available from the thyristor manual. The model has shown good accuracy of expectation at frequencies of several KHz and higher
