Abstract
A new approach for solving resistive piecewise-linear networks is recommended which uses the equivalent linear models containing controlled switches. Then the generalized complementary equations are formulated and all the solutions are found by the iteration method. The advantage of the approach is that the voltages and currents of the controlled switches are taken as the basic variables. Consequently, the physical meanings of the variables are more clear and the approach is more straight forward than the parameter equations
