Abstract
Considers an optimal control technique for solving dynamic, nonlinear, discrete time optimization problems based on reduced gradient and neural networks which is applied to optimal flow control in traffic networks with time-varying flows. The obtained results in terms of required computation time and flow assumptions are relevant for a real-time implementation of the routing/flow control algorithms
