The system has been implemented in a power plant installation in Stockholm during 1983. This paper describes some properties and features of the installation, such as: * System configuration: main computer with distributed microcomputers, communication link and separate hardwired alarm functions. * Step connection facility. * Automatic battery charging * Autonomous operation when computer is down * Intelligent alarm functions with diagnostics. * Remote operation and control Practical use of the described functions are followed up and explained. Examples of tables and messages are given. Experience from putting a complex system of many distributed processors into operation is reported.
