Abstract :
This paper describes a supervisory system design based on trouble analysis and maintenance manpower analysis in DC power supply systems. Most of DC power supply systems used in NTT are end cell systems and silicon dropper systems. According to trouble analysis on these systems, about 50% of these troubles result from ineffective maintenance. In order to prevent the troubles from occurring and reduce maintenance manpower concerning preventive maintenance, it is important to enhance the quality and efficiency of automatic operation, self-diagnosis, information transmission and remote monitor functions on designing supervisory system.
