Abstract :
A new image transformation, two-dimensional θ-transformation, is introduced in this paper. The time complexity for a θ-transformation is very low. Therefore, for a certain class of images, θ-transformation is a very efficient algorithm for image compression and image indexing. Boltzmann machine can be used to implement a class of θ-transformation
