Abstract
Describes a fuzzy logic system that performs end-to-end automatic target detection for LADAR imagery. Images are preprocessed with nonlinear fuzzy filters to remove noise. Several target detectors employing fuzzy and robust statistical methods are used to create pixel-based target confidence values that are fused with the Choquet fuzzy integral. Thresholds are determined from ROC curve analysis on a training set and then the detectors are run on a test set. Features are extracted from detected target windows and final target detection is performed by a neural network. Results on the training and test set are analyzed
