Abstract :
The GALATEA neural network programming system (NNPS) has been originally prototyped within PYGMALION (ESPRIT II Project), and refined within GALATEA (ESPRIT II Project 5293) and GALATEA II (ESPRIT III Project P7808). The NNPS is the only complete existing tool for neural network development and design. The application development life cycle, the global architecture, and advantages of NNPS are discussed
