  • Abstract
    This article introduces a sketch understanding strategy based on LR modeling of domain knowledge. Compared with other methods, it has two significant features: (1) the usage of domain knowledge. Based on our observation of circuit diagrams, we model each component with an LR grammar, and with the guidance of it, we effectively accomplish the interpretation of a sketch. (2) the ability to handle ambiguous situations. Ambiguity and continuity are the two inherent characteristics of a sketch. As we defined three different levels of fuzzy sets, users can sketch without interruption. Experiment results prove both effectiveness and efficiency of our proposed method
