  • Abstract
    The rapid development in information technology (IT) is pushing the power system information management network to a remarkable innovation state. This brings us new opportunities and challenges. Implementation of the information embedded power system via wide area network (IEPS-W) for transmitting power system data enables the utility industry to share the system information more broadly and effectively. This work proposes IEPS-W together with the importance of future research required in utilizing IEPS-W.
