Abstract :
The purpose of this paper is to deal with the modes of convergence in equilibrium theory for fuzzy random variables as well as their applications in approximation scheme. First, the criteria for convergence almost sure, convergence almost uniform, and convergence in equilibrium chance are characterized by equilibrium chance. Then, the relations among various types of convergence are established. Finally, the modes of convergence are applied to approximation method of fuzzy random optimization problems with equilibrium chance constraints, and the convergence of approximation method is also considered
