Abstract :
Frequency generation module is used in various information service equipments from low to high frequency application system. Many circuit systems have used one clock source to generate multiple frequencies. If oscillator of each frequency is divided by integer type division ratio, accurate frequency is generated. However in a case that a division ratio is a real number, it is difficult to achieve accurate frequency. Therefore it is required to find a way to improve precision of frequency when a division rate is a real number. In this paper we suggest a new algorithm and implement to generate accurate frequency when oscillator is divided by a real number. Our implementation is useful for those who want to make different frequency with one clock source and who want to use several frequencies.
