Abstract :
Adequate security in mobile telecommunications networks is a real challenge for manufacturers, but also for network operators and service providers. Increasing fraud threatens their basis of business and causes severe damage. National and international laws and the results of standardization require a high level of security. A detailed study on CTM (cordless terminal mobility) security is being done within the ETSI Specialist Task Force on CTM Security (STF 113), with participants from operators and suppliers in France, Sweden and Germany. Their results will be the basis for security issues in the future CTM standards and will be implemented in our solutions for CTM
