Abstract :
Fuzzy-timing high-level Petri nets and workflow technology are introduced to model and analyze collaborative design activities. A set of reasoning rules and criteria are proposed to manage the uncertainty of temporal parameters in collaborative activities, verify the temporal logic and analyze quantitatively the collaboration performance. An example is given to explain how to model collaborative design activities and analyze their performance by using these rules and criteria
