Abstract :
The ITU-T´s standard activities in intelligent network (IN) management based on the framework of TMN and MOs (managed objects) for No.7 signalling system are presented and the MOs for the SSP is proposed. The integration of TMN and distributed object technology is under active discussion and the computer information system is modeled and implemented by the distributed object technologies. Thus most of the service control and management part in the IN is working in the computer system, it is assumed that the applicability of distributed object technology is very high and the effect is very large. Also the IN element is defined based on the TMN modeling methodology. This paper discusses the need for application of distributed object technology in the intelligent network and the management software architecture of the intelligent network based on those technologies
