Abstract
A major challenge in today´s information rich environment is finding and making best use of all the relevant data, information and knowledge to enable best-informed decisions in drug development. Whether it is to identify the right target, choose the best compound or most relevant model, or translate preclinical observations to clinical outcome, making best use of available information goes beyond the availability of tools and requires expert information science skills. This presentation will concentrate on the key success factors for leveraging information, generating new knowledge and ensuring best informed decisions in drug projects.
