Abstract :
The commitment of resources may not be sufficient to ensure that multimedia applications will be guaranteed the required service quality in the network. It is important that multimedia applications ensure end-to-end service quality of media streams, considering both the networks and the end systems. In particular, it is essential to maintain a certain level of multimedia quality regardless of the network situation. In this paper, we propose a way to support multimedia service quality using cooperation between communications entities in wireless networks. Simulation results are also presented to show that the proposed scheme works well in the wireless environment.
