  • Abstract
A gasoline powered portable electrostatic sprayer is described which has been modified for induction charging of the spray droplets. Significant charge is developed on the spray over a range of liquid flow rates from 12-21 ml/s. Objects at least 12 meters from the sprayer can be covered effectively. The advantages of electrostatic spraying which include less environmental contamination, lower application rates and more uniform coverage are available in the inexpensive unit
