Abstract :
In this letter, we investigate the outage performance of incremental amplify-and-forward (AF) relaying scheme with multiple relays in which the usage of relays is decided based on a certain threshold. With the multiple relays in a cooperative network, we consider two strategies for relay selections: i) incremental all-participate relaying scheme, ii) incremental generalized-participate relaying scheme. In addition, the outage analysis of the two proposed schemes is given in a closed-form expression.
