Abstract
The simoultaneous occurrence of pre-determined levels of daily energy amounts or eliophany is analyzed for more than four hundreds of couples of sites all over the Italian territory. This approach could be very helpful both for the design of a large scale solar feeding network and for the evaluation of the spacial characteristics of solar radiation. The results show that the statistical independence cannot be assumed below some 400-500 Km., with different behaviours for the daily solar energy amount and the eliophany. These behaviours can moreover be satisfactory modelled as a function of both the distance between the sites and the threshold of the solar radiation.
