Abstract
This paper will discuss how the semiconductor industry can contribute to reducing global energy consumption and greenhouse-gas emission, eventually making human life healthier (of course, without sacrificing convenience and productivity). In the following sections, we will present two different perspectives: (1) semiconductor products, and (2) semiconductor manufacturing processes.
