Abstract :
In this paper, we present Q-switched operation of a transversely diode-pumped ceramic Nd:YAG slab laser with a bounce amplifier geometry at high repetition frequency up to 160 kHz and pulse duration of less than 100 ns. The average power in Q-switched operation was as much as 10 W. In Q-switched region 10 kHz to 160 kHz, the pulse width was less than 100 ns.
