Abstract :
In this work, we report on 300-mW average output power mode-locked laser, based on diode-pumped amplitude modulated mode-locked Tm-Ho:BaY2F8 (BaYF). Transform-limited pulse trains at 100 MHz repetition rate with a time duration of 110 ps have been generated with a controllable spectral tunability covering 59 nm around the Ho emission at 2.06 μm. The characterization of the mode-locked Tm-Ho:BaYF laser was performed both in the frequency and time domains.
