Abstract :
A multi-view video is a collection of videos produced by capturing a same 3D scene at different viewpoints. Since the data size of the multi-view video increases proportionally to the number of cameras, it is necessary to compress multi-view video data for efficient storage and transmission. In this paper, we will discuss about distance increment between camera locations in multi-view video when talking about compression and the existing trade-off related to complexity of codec and efficient compression, as well.
