Abstract :
Genetic algorithm is one of the major tools for solving the optimization problem. Its global convergence and searching strategy significantly affect the performance. In This work, a novel genetic algorithm is proposed to include the diversity strategy and reviving strategy. From the experimental results of solving two typical test functions, the performance of the proposed algorithm is better than that of the traditional genetic algorithm.
