Abstract :
This study aims to examine forensic evidence through forensic analysis of backup data in synchronized smartphones. In a laboratory environment for the experiment, an assumption is made that personal financial transaction information is sent to a smartphone, which is in turn damaged. For the backup data of the smartphone, a forensic tool is used to analyze the personal financial transaction information and crime related data, and to apply forensic technology so that the result can be employed as evidence in courts. The result of this study will be able to be used as basic data in forensic analysis of smartphones.
