Abstract :
GPSS (general purpose simulation system) World is a complete redesign and reimplementation of the popular GPSS/PC simulation environment. The limitations of the old PC DOS environment and the emerging trends in desktop computing have combined to motivate drastic changes which are planned for the new environment to be made available, beginning in 1992. The inclusion of windowing, virtual memory, animation and hierarchical modeling is discussed
