Abstract :
Random numbers play an increasingly important role in secure Internet communication. Owing to this reason, the quality of random numbers is crucial in the design of random number generator. This paper proposes a novel pseudo random number generator for application in the field of secure communications. The novel pseudo random number generator is based on Hopfield neural network techniques. The quality of random number generated by it can satisfy the requirement of secure communication. For the Hopfield neural network is nonlinear, it can be used to improve the traditional random number generator
