Abstract :
Hysteresis hinders the effective use of piezoelectric actuators. This paper addresses the parameters´ identification and adaptive inverse control method of hysteresis for piezoelectric actuator, where hysteresis is modeled by a new mathematical model. An adaptive inverse control scheme is developed for reducing hysteresis. The weights of inverse hysteresis model are identified by using least-mean-squares algorithm. Practical issues in the implementation of the adaptive identification and inverse control methods are also investigated. The experimental results based on a piezoelectric actuator are provided to illustrate the proposed approach
