Abstract
We propose a new approach based on the control of the dynamics of a semiconductor laser by adjusting the lifetime of the photons in the cavity. Indeed, when this lifetime gets longer than the carrier lifetime, the laser becomes a so-called class-A laser in which the relaxation behaviour is overdamped.
