Abstract :
In this paper, due to their decreasing cost and increasing emitting power, Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Lasers (VCSEL) based optical links are more and more used. The performances of these links are strongly affected by the intensity noise enhancement due to multi-mode emission of the lasers and its up-conversion close to the microwave carrier.
