Abstract
The authors present an analysis of an office furniture manufacturing facility for its capacity and in-process storage-related problems. SLAM II simulation language is used in this study. Several scenarios were also developed to determine alternative solutions to the stated problems. Simulation results are also discussed for each of these scenarios. Seven simulation experiments were conducted to determine possible outcomes of specific options. Once the simulation model with base case was developed, further enhancement to evaluate performance with defined modified condition was quick. The model was used at each stage of analysis for the stated capacity and in-process storage problems
