  • Abstract
With the rapid increasing of the installed capacity of wind power, the difficulty of system frequency regulation is more apparent than ever for the volatility and randomicity of wind power. Therefore, this paper proposes one strategy of wind farm power regulation considering system frequency regulation demand. The corresponding control system is divided into three levels-wind energy management level, wind farm regulation level, wind generator regulation level-based on the stratified thought. According to the operational information of wind generators, wind farms and system real-time frequency deviation, two modes are proposed, which are Normal Operation model and Regulation model. At the same time, the Regulation model contains three sub-modes, primary step-regulation submodel, secondary step-regulation sub-model and provisional fault step-regulation sub-model, to support the stability of system frequency and reduce the abnormal time of system frequency.
